I’m an Episcopal priest who preaches a Gospel of joy and hope.

I help communities discover and proclaim God’s joy and hope. God has called me to serve as priest-in-charge for St. James’ Episcopal Church in Hyde Park, and I couldn’t be more grateful. That ministry began on All Saints’ Day 2022.

Prior to arriving at St. James’, I was in the Diocese of Central New York since 2015, serving as chief of staff and director of communications and as priest to Christ Episcopal Church in Jordan, New York. Previously I was director of programs for Episcopal Charities in the Diocese of New York.

I and my husband, Christopher Carter Sanderson (a theater artist, poet, and author) are parents to Max, age 5, and wranglers to the family dog, a loud Jack Russell terrier named Charlie. I read a LOT, and I also enjoy making dumb jokes and texting people gifs.

With my family at my ordination to the priesthood.
